Incident Summary:

08/19/2013: Assailants attacked two police busses in Rafah town, North Sinai governorate, Egypt. The assailants first opened fire on the vehicles before launching rocket-propelled grenades. At least 25 police officers were killed, and at least three more were wounded. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Islamist fundamentalists.
