08/21/2013: Assailants detonated an explosive device near a police convoy in Mosul city, Nineveh governorate, Iraq. At least four officers were killed but Police Chief Brigadier Khalid Al-Hamdani and Intelligence Head Brigadier Isma'el Al-Jobouri, the suspected targets of the attack, were not injured. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
