Incident Summary:

09/01/2013: Approximately 20 assailants opened fire on a Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) detachment at a military base in Paidu Pulangi village, Pikit municipality, North Cotabato province, Philippines. At least three assailants were killed in the return fire. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM).
