Incident Summary:

09/08/2013: Assailants attacked the Christian city of Maloula, Rif Dimashq governorate, Syria. Approximately 30 people were beheaded and killed by the attackers. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the incident to a group comprised of members from the Al-Nusrah Front, Ahrar al-Sham, and Liwa al-Islam.
