Incident Summary:

09/20/2013: Assailants fired a mortar round at police in Mir Khan, Ghazni, Afghanistan. The mortar missed the police officers and instead struck a civilian house. Five children were killed as a result. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, an Afghan official attributed the attack to the Taliban.
