Incident Summary:

09/23/2013: Two assailants on a motorbike opened fire on a Yemeni Air Force officer in his vehicle on his way home from al-Dailamy Air Force Base in Sanaa city, Amanat Al Asimah governorate, Yemen. Colonel Abdul Wahab Azzan was killed in this attack. No group claimed responsibility for this incident; however, officials attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
