10/06/2013: A roadside bomb detonated targeting Momand Khan in Wama district, Nuristan province, Afghanistan. Khan, the chief of the operations department for the Kunar security commandment, was killed in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, officials attributed the attack to the Taliban.
