Incident Summary:

10/08/2013: Assailants on a motorcycle opened fire on Sadat Sher's taxi near the Budhni Pull river in Peshawar city, Peshawar district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. Sher, a tribal leader from the Mohmand Agency, was killed and the taxi driver was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities stated that Sher had received threats for his relationship with the government.
