10/12/2013: Assailants on a motorcycle opened fire on Ayub Khattak in the Takht-e-Nasrati area of Karak district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. Khattak, a journalist with Urdu Language Daily, was killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
