Incident Summary:

10/12/2013: Assailants abducted two Afghan children from Watapur district, Kunar province, Afghanistan. The assailants killed the two children and their bodies were discovered on October 12, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, government officials attributed the it to the Taliban, stating that the group carried out the attack because it suspected the children of spying for the Afghan government and foreign forces.
