Incident Summary:

10/13/2013: Assailants kidnapped seven members of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Society from near Saraqib city, Idlib governorate, Syria. Four of the seven captives were released on October 14, 2013, but the status of the remaining victims is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, Syrian Observatory of Human Rights officials attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
