Incident Summary:
10/29/2013: Approximately 50 assailants set fire to and opened fire on the private residence of Lieutenant John Kamango in Lubumbashi city, Katanga province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Kamango, the commander of the provincial military police, was not harmed; however, at least six people, including three assailants, were killed and nine assailants were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Mayi Mayi.
