Incident Summary:

11/11/2013: An explosive device detonated as a patrol of the 57th Infantry Battalion was passing by in North Cotabato province, Philippines. One soldier was killed and four were injured by the blast. This was one of two landmine attacks on military patrols in North Cotabato on this day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected the incident was perpetrated by the New People's Army (NPA).
