12/01/2013: Assailants opened fire on the car of Colonel Ahmed Al-Marfadi in Qatn district, Hadramawt governorate, Yemen. The colonel and his son were killed in the attack and at least two people were wounded. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that Muslim fundamentalists were involved.
