Incident Summary:

12/29/2013: Assailants opened fire on African Union/United Nations Hybrid operation in Darfur (UNAMID) forces near Greida, South Darfur state, Sudan. A Jordanian and a Senegalese peacekeeper were killed in the attack. Additionally, one assailant was killed and another was injured in return fire. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
