Incident Summary:

01/08/2014: Eight assailants attacked the village of Peter Biye in Gwoza town, Borno State, Nigeria. Biya is a member of the House of Representatives. The assailants set a church and Biye's home on fire and burnt materials worth more than N38 million including a store of sorghum in the attack. No group has claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that Boko Haram was involved.
