01/11/2014: Assailants abducted four laborers, including an employee of the Public Works Department, from a construction site near the Singda Dam in Senapati district, Manipur state, India. The four hostages were released on January 17, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that the Nehlun faction of the Kuki National Front (KNF) was behind the abduction.
