Incident Summary:

01/13/2014: Assailants attacked a Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) military garrison in Suntah town, South Darfur state, Sudan. This was one of four attacks in Suntah on January 13, 2014. Between these four attacks and an unrelated attack in South Kordofan state, one person was killed. The Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM) claimed responsibility for the incident in a radio statement.
