Incident Summary:

01/24/2014: Assailants attacked a police station in Qaysar district, Faryab province, Afghanistan. A clash ensued, during which seven assailants and six police officers were killed, and four assailants and four police officers were wounded. The police station was set on fire. Qari Yousuf Ahmadi, a Taliban spokesperson, claimed responsibility for the incident.
