01/27/2014: Assailants attacked Kawuri village in Konduga, Borno state, Nigeria. At least 52 people were killed, at least 50 others were wounded, and an unknown number of villagers were abducted. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspect that Boko Haram was behind the attack.
