Incident Summary:

01/27/2014: Assailants detonated explosive devices, targeting a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) rescue team in the Giridih district, Jharkhand state, India. At least one CRPF officer was killed and at least 15 people, including 11 CRPF personnel and four Jharkhand Jaguars were wounded as a result of the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed it to Maoists.
