Incident Summary:

01/28/2014: Two assailants in a vehicle opened fire on the Church of the Virgin Mary in Sixth of October city, Giza governorate, Egypt. At least one police officer, identified as Sergeant Mohamed Taha Sayed, was killed and another officer was injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Muslim Brotherhood.
