02/01/2014: An explosive device detonated in Paklo subdistrict, Pattani province, Thailand. The blast targeted soldiers, killing three and wounding two. This was one of three coordinated attacks in the subdistrict this evening; the soldiers were traveling to the site of an earlier explosion targeting local leaders. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
