Incident Summary:

02/01/2014: Assailants attacked an army security checkpoint in Saqlawiyah, Al Anbar, Iraq. This was one of three army security checkpoints attacked in the region's Al-Jisr area on this day. Two soldiers were killed and three others were wounded across all of the attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
