Incident Summary:

02/00/2014: Sometime between February 1, 2014 and February 28, 2014, assailants abducted 99 Kurdish civilians in Alieh area, Aleppo governorate, Syria. Of these hostages, 93 were released on November 3, 2014 while the remaining victims continued to be held in Raqqa. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the kidnapping to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
