Incident Summary:

02/04/2014: Assailants attacked residents and buildings in Atakar village, Plateau state, Nigeria. Eleven people were killed and an unknown number of others were injured in the attack. This was one of two related attacks carried out on villages in the same area on the same day. Approximately 60 houses were set on fire and destroyed across both attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected the involvement of Fulani militants.
