Incident Summary:

02/11/2014: Assailants opened fire on soldiers escorting government employees and civilians after planting trees in Parang village, Sulu province, Philippines. At least one soldier was killed and five were wounded by the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed the incident to the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).
