Incident Summary:

02/12/2014: Assailants opened fire on a Buddhist bank employee as she was riding her motorcycle in tambon To Tee Tae, Yaring district, Pattani province, Thailand. The victim was killed and her body was set on fire. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, a note was left with the body threatening further deaths in retaliation for the killing of three young brothers earlier in the month.
