Incident Summary:

02/20/2014: Assailants put up a fake roadblock and attempted to extort money out of farmers in Carmen town, North Cotabato province, Philippines. A clash ensued when security forces confronted the assailants. At least one militia member was injured in the firefight. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed it to the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).
