Incident Summary:

02/28/2014: Assailants attacked Hijer Tunja area in South Darfur state, Sudan. At least 31 people were killed and 23 others were wounded and 35 villages were set on fire in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Janjaweed.
