03/15/2014: Assailants attacked an Egyptian Armed Forces checkpoint in Shubra el-Kheima, Qalyubia, Egypt. At least six soldiers were killed and an unknown number of people were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, Egyptian Armed Forces officials attributed the attack to the Muslim Brotherhood.
