04/01/2014: Assailants threw a grenade near a liquor store and bus station in Williamnagar town, East Garo Hills district, Meghalaya state, India. There were no reported casualties or injuries since the grenade failed to detonate. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, a police official attributed the attack to the Achik National Volunteer Council-B (ANVC-B).
