04/10/2014: Assailants opened fire on a polling station in Balika Siksha Kendra area, Lat village, Jharkhand state, India. There were no reports of casualties in the attack. This was one of 16 related attacks on polling stations in Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand states on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed it to Maoists.
