Incident Summary:

04/24/2014: Assailants opened fire on the vehicle of Chinmay Gotmare in Sikbari area, Meghalaya state, India. Gotmare, a Deputy Commissioner, was unharmed; however, one of his security guards and his driver were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Garo National Liberation Army.
