Incident Summary:

04/25/2014: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated and a suicide bomber detonated explosives at an Asa'ib Ahl al-Haqq Movement election rally on al-Qanat Street in Baghdad city, Baghdad governorate, Iraq. In addition to the suicide bomber, 25 people were killed and 24 others were wounded in the blast. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was in retaliation to the deaths of Sunnis and the forced removal of them from their residences.
