04/26/2014: Assailants abducted Serhiy Shapoval between Sloviansk and Kharkiv cities in Donetsk oblast, Ukraine. Shapoval, a journalist, was tortured and released on May 18, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the abduction to the Donetsk People's Republic.
