05/02/2014: Assailants attacked civilians in Balapara village, Assam state, India. At least seven people were killed and two others were wounded. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed the attack to the Songbijit faction of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB).

Criteria
Criteria 1

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
