05/06/2014: Assailants ambushed a military patrol in Rouda area, Diffa region, Niger. There were no casualties among the soldiers; however, one assailant was wounded in the exchange of fire. In addition, three of the attackers were arrested. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, officials attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
