05/12/2014: Assailants threw an explosive device at the residence of Meena Devi Purohit, a former deputy mayor, in Posta area, Kolkata city, West Bengal state, India. This was one of two attacks against Purohit's home on the same day. Although Purohit escaped unharmed, a laborer was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents.
