05/16/2014: Assailants opened fire on a police station in Mandera district, Mandera province, Kenya. There were no reported casualties in the attack. This was one of four coordinated attacks carried out by Al-Shabaab in Mandera district on May 16, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab.
