05/24/2014: An explosive device detonated near a Frontier Corps (FC) convoy in Pandiyali town, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. At least six soldiers were killed and another was injured in the blast. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-e-Jarrar claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that the attack was carried out in retaliation to military operations in North Waziristan.
