05/25/2014: Assailants surrounded a vehicle and held the four occupants hostage, including two Mexican environmentalists and two tourists from the United States, in the Lacandon Jungle in Ocosingo district, Chiapas state, Mexico. The victims were freed approximately 20 hours later, on May 26, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
