Incident Summary:

05/27/2014: Assailants opened fire on the private residence of Lotfi Ben Jeddou in Kasserine town, Kasserine governorate, Tunisia. Jeddou, the head of the Tunisian Ministry of the Interior, was not harmed; however, at least four police officers were killed and another was injured in the assault. Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) claimed responsibility for the attack. Sources also attributed the incident to the Okba Ibn Nafaa Brigade.
