Incident Summary:

05/28/2014: Assailants opened fire on residents and threw petrol bombs at buildings in Gumushi village, Borno state, Nigeria. At least 26 people were killed and an unknown number of buildings were destroyed in the incident. This was one of three coordinated attacks on villages in the area on the same day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incidents to Boko Haram.
