05/30/2014: Assailants opened fire on a vehicle carrying three emirs in Tashan Alade area, Borno state, Nigeria. Alhaji Idrissa Timta, the emir of Gwoza, and two police officers were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
