05/31/2014: Assailants opened fire on Abdullah al-Tawil Abu Khalid in Taben town, Lahij governorate, Yemen. Abu Khalid, an intelligence officer, was killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
