Incident Summary:

06/07/2014: Assailants opened fire on Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel near the Konar Dam in Vishnugarh village, Jharkhand state, India. An unknown number of assailants were killed and injured in the assault. Additionally, three cane bombs were recovered from the scene following the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, a source attributed the attack to the Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist).
