Incident Summary:
06/14/2014: An explosive device detonated near a Frontier Corps (FC) vehicle in Chamarkand area, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. One soldier was killed and two civilians were wounded in the blast. This was one of two coordinated attacks in this area on June 14, 2014. This first blast was designed to draw first responders to the scene. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria 1

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
