Incident Summary:

06/18/2014: Assailants launched rockets at the Tubruq Air Force base in Tubruq city, Butnan district, Libya. There were no reported casualties in the attack. This was one of two coordinated attacks on aerial targets on June 18, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Ansar al-Sharia (Libya) and sources suspected that Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) may have been involved in the attack.
