Incident Summary:

06/18/2014: Assailants kidnapped 40 Indian workers in Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. Approximately 39 hostages were killed while the final hostage escaped on June 22, 2014. The 39 bodies were discovered in a mass grave on March 21, 2018. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
